The Winter Weather Advisory for all the Illinois counties of the listening are has been canceled; however, all Indiana counties in the Wabash valley are still under a Winter Weather Advisory until Sunday afternoon. Snow showers have broken up across much of the area; but, a trace of snow is possible, with even some accumulation is possible in some areas mainly to the east. With falling temperatures and windy conditions, slick roads could still be a factor overnight into Sunday. Be aware and use caution. Temperatures are continuing to drop as colder air moves in behind the system that brought the precipitation. Cold temperatures are the story moving forward with a few overnight lows in the single digits, and windchill values below zero. Our next chance of snow moves in with a system Monday night into Tuesday.
