New at AMC Showplace 10 Theaters in Mattoon this weekend:
1. “Kung Fu Panda 3“ (PG) Trailer
Bryan Cranston plays Po’s long-lost panda father, who takes him to a secret village in the mountains where he meets other pandas for the first time.
They include Kate Hudson as a flirty, ribbon-dancing panda, and Angelina Jolie’s kids, Shiloh, Knox, Zahara, and Pax Jolie-Pitt as young pandas in the village.
But when an evil warlord overwhelms the other kung fu masters, it’s up to Po to train a chubby army of his own. Jack Black also rocks out to a panda parody of “Juke Box Hero” called “Nunchuck Princess”.
2. “Fifty Shades of Black“ (R) Trailer
A “Fifty Shades of Grey” parody. But instead of Christian Grey and Anastacia, you’ve got Marlon Wayans as ‘Mr. Black’ and a chick named Kali Hawk as his lover Hannah.
3. “The Finest Hours“ (PG-13) Trailer
Chris Pine leads a four-man Coast Guard team sent out in a wooden lifeboat to rescue the crew of an oil tanker. It was ripped in half by one of the worst storms ever to hit the East Coast. Casey Affleck plays the senior surviving officer aboard the sinking ship.
