We saw a headline today that the new breakfast trend in New York is something called the “Everything Donut.” I thought it would be a donut covered in every fantastic topping . . . sprinkles, Oreo pieces, frosting, glaze, M&Ms, and more. Nope.
A place in New York called the Doughnut Project created the Everything Donut so it’s like an everything BAGEL. It’s got a cream cheese glaze, and it’s covered in sesame seeds, poppy seeds, sea salt, and GARLIC.
Supposedly the mix of a sweet donut and all of those toppings is delicious. Although it sounds terrible. And just ONE donut costs $3.75.
