Hooters Experimenting With New Restaurant Concept
(Chicago, IL) — Hooters is rolling out a new restaurant concept minus the short shorts and tight tops. The new spin off chain called “Hoots” is more quick-service and features a condensed menu featuring Hooters’ top takeout sellers. Customers come in, order at the counter, get a number and pick a table. The servers bring you the food wearing polo shirts and khaki pants rather than the traditional “Hooters girl” look. The first Hoots opened in a Chicago suburb. Hooters chief operations officer says the Chicago-area was chosen because of the strong carry out business the area is known for.
