A Charleston man was sentenced to four-years in prison for the beating death of a dog. 36-year-old Deon Nailing, who committed the crime in February of last year, allegedly hit his then-girlfriend, for which he received a one-year sentence for misdemeanor domestic battery, which will run at the same time as his prison term.
