Route 133, approximately four miles east of Arcola, will be reduced to one lane beginning June 15th. According to the Illinois Department of Transportation, box culvert replacement work is expected to continue until August 31st. Additionally, Illinois 133 will be closed to through traffic between Illinois 130 and Interstate 57, from 6 a.m. Monday, June 19th, to 3:30 p.m. Friday, June 23th. Traffic will be detoured to U.S. 36 during this closure.
