Doctors Warn Of Serious Eye Injuries From Nerf Guns
(London) — Doctors in London say bullets fired from Nerf guns can cause serious eye injuries. The BBC reports doctors treated three people with internal bleeding around the eye, pain and blurred vision after they were shot in the eye with the children’s toy gun. Doctors writing in “BJM Case reports” recommend wearing protective eye goggles. Hasbro warns players not to aim Nerf guns at the eyes or face. Nerf guns are designed for children age eight and over.
