This is generally considered the TOUGH stretch of the year for single people, from Thanksgiving through Valentine’s Day, where there’s a LOT of pressure to be in a relationship coming from all angles.
And according to a new study, even though this goes against the stereotypes, MEN are more likely than women to stress out right now about being single.
71% of single guys say they feel, quote, “significant pressure” to be in a relationship, versus 58% of women.
And the main reason is . . . single men are more likely to say they feel LONELY.
The researchers think that could be because women have more intimate friendships than men do . . . so single women are more likely to be able to have serious and emotional talks with someone than single men.
