According to WCIA Online, the same driveway in Champaign has been the same crime scene only 6 months apart to two cars being set on fire. Authorities have confirmed someone intentionally set a car on fire in the 3000 block of Stoneway Court Friday,12/17/17, around 3 am. The landlord of the building also confirmed that only six months ago there was also another car fire. The car owners have decided to remain anonymous, but they both were only visiting someone who lived at the building where their cars were parked. The landlord believes the fires are suspicious since some of the tenants are behind on rent. Luckily Fire Officials have helped in both cases contain the fires and minimal damages were done and none of the building caught fire, just some smoke damage. The investigation continues.
