A rollover crash slowed things down around milepost 237 on I57 yesterday. A tractor-trailer driven by David Morgan, of Knightstown, Indiana was on the ramp from I-74 west to I-57 north. Due to excessive speed, the load shifted and caused the vehicle to overturn across the northbound lanes of I-57. Another tractor-trailer, driven by Steven Woolen, of Martinsville, Indiana had to swerve to avoid Morgan’s rig and jackknifed in the east ditch along I-57 adjacent to Morgan’s tractor-trailer. Woolen, and a passenger in Morgan’s vehicle, Jack Stoten, were taken to the hospital with injuries. Morgan was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions.
