Meek Mill Ordered To Be Released
(Philadelphia, PA) — Rapper Meek Mill is getting out of prison. Mill’s lawyers say the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ordered him released on bail today. Mill was sentenced to two-to-four years for violating his probation. Last week, an assistant Philadelphia DA offered support for a new trial after learning that Mill’s arresting officer is on a list of so-called dirty cops in Philadelphia. Mill has taken to Twitter to thank God, his family, and his “public advocates for their love, support and encouragement during this difficult time.” Mill has gotten vocal support for his release from numerous celebrities and fellow rappers since his incarceration. It’s not clear yet when Mill will be back in court.
