MATTOON – The first of three summer library programs presented by Douglas-Hart Nature Center staff is Thursday (May 31, 2018) at the Mattoon Public Library.
Ms. Drizzle the Magic Book Box begins at 10 a.m. on the second floor children’s area. Ms. Drizzle arrives with her Magic Book Box and creature sidekick in an adventure to far away places. Ms. Drizzle transforms into impossible forms to discover the solution to a mysterious creature problem.
“The library enjoys many partnerships that help us deliver quality programming throughout the year,” said Library Director Carl Walworth. “The Douglas-Hart programs designed for libraries are another way to engage with the community in a fun, entertaining and informative way.”
The other Douglas-Hart programs are Would You Rather? At 1:15 p.m. June 22 and It’s Not What It Looks Like at 10 a.m. July 19.
