A Flood Warning continues until Tuesday, June 26th for portions of the following rivers in Indiana, the East Fork White River, Muscatatuck River, and Wabash River. Lowland river flooding similar to what occurred earlier in June will return to portions of western and southern Indiana this weekend and early next week. Significant flooding is not expected. Flooding will once again affect a few local and state roads, river parks
and low agricultural land. Rainfall of more than 3 inches fell in portions of central and southeast Indiana between Thursday and Friday. This brought the rainfall total to more than 5 inches since Tuesday in a few central Indiana locations. Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river conditions.
