National Tooth Fairy Day
(Undated) — Kids all over the country can wiggle out those baby teeth because it’s National Tooth Fairy Day. The childhood fantasy figure first came about in the 1920s to push kids to take better care of their teeth. Unlike Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, no one is quite sure what the Tooth Fairy looks like. They take teeth left under a child’s pillow and leave them money. It is believed by some that those teeth are recycled and given to babies. National Tooth Fairy Day is also celebrated on February 28th.
