(Chicago, IL) — Chicago’s first Amazon Go store is now open. The automated, cashier-less store opened to the public yesterday in the Loop, near Franklin and Monroe. Shoppers enter the store by scanning a smartphone app. Cameras and sensors track what the customers grab off the shelves and charge them after they leave.
