(Baltimore, MD) — Baltimore police are reaching out to the military after a rocket launcher was among the weapons turned in during its gun buyback program. The Baltimore Sun reports the police department spent 163-thousand dollars to take nearly eleven-hundred firearms off the streets. The city paid 500-dollars for the rocket launcher. They also contacted the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to try and determine its origin. The next day where residents can turn in firearms anonymously for cash is Friday.
