(Seattle, WA) — Amazon is passing Microsoft as the most valuable publicly traded company. At the end of today’s trading session, Amazon had a value of about 797-billion-dollars, while Microsoft was worth 783-billion. It’s the first time Amazon has earned the title of most valuable corporation. Amazon shares surged more than three-percent today in a trading period fueled by gains in the tech sector.
