Mattoon Man Arrested, Charged with Possession of Child Pornography

Mattoon police, in conjunction with investigators from the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, arrested 28-year-old Tyler L. Foote, of Mattoon, for the offense of possession of child pornography. The arrest occurred yesterday morning in the 400 block of North 15^th Street. The charge alleges that Foote was using electronic devices to obtain and store child pornography. The arrest was the result of the Illinois Crimes against Children initiative in which Mattoon police participate with the Illinois Attorney General’s Office to combat internet crimes against children.
