Patriots Coach Talks About Antonio Brown Lawsuit
(Boston, MA) — New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick said the organization takes these matters seriously after a woman accused wide receiver Antonio Brown of sexual assault. Talking with reporters today, Belichick declined to elaborate on statements that were released by both Brown and the Patriots.
In a lawsuit filed in the Southern District of Florida, a woman identified as Britney Taylor claims Brown sexually assaulted her on three occasions after the wide receiver hired her as a personal trainer. Two of the incidents allegedly happened in June of 2017 and the other in May of 2018.
Brown recently signed with the New England Patriots after being released by the Oakland Raiders following disputes with team officials. The NFL is looking into the situation and Brown could be placed on the Commissioner’s exempt list as the matter is investigated.
