49ers Remain Unbeaten, Shut Out Redskins
(Washington, DC) — Robbie Gould made 28, 22 and 29-yard field goals for the only points as the 49ers beat the Redskins 9-0 in a steady rain and strong wind in D.C. to remain undefeated. Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 151 yards and an interception in the victory. The San Francisco defense has allowed just 10 points in the last three games as it is 6-and-0 for the first time since 1990. Case Keenum was 9-for-12 for 77 yards and sacked three times in defeat. Adrian Peterson rushed 20 times for 81 yards and lost a fumble for the Redskins, who fell to 1-and-6.
