Bears Reaffirm Commitment To Trubisky As Starting QB
(Indianapolis, IN) — The Bears are reaffirming that they are committed to Mitch Trubisky as their starting quarterback next season despite a rocky 2019. Speaking at the NFL Scouting Combine yesterday, general manager Ryan Pace said the franchise believes in Mitch. He said Trubisky knows he needs to be better and that they need to be better around him. Pace didn’t rule out bringing in another signal caller to compete with Trubisky, saying the team wants to create competition for all starting jobs. The Bears haven’t announced whether they will exercise Trubisky’s fifth-year option for the 2021 season.
