Changes to Peace Meal Congregate Site Due to Covid-19
In an abundance of caution during the Covid-19 outbreak, the Illinois Department on Aging has decided to temporarily restrict all senior nutrition program sites in Illinois to Carry-Out Only.
Clients who usually have lunch at our Peace Meal sites are welcome to stop by the site and pick up their meal to go. Reservations will be made as usual. Peace Meal clients who enjoy their meals in local restaurants are also required to take their meal to go. Clients who receive their Peace Meals through home delivery will continue to receive them in this manner.
