Carbondale Skilled Nursing Facility Patient Contracts COVID-19
(Carbondale, IL) — A 90-year-old female resident at a Carbondale skilled nursing facility is confirmed to have contracted COVID-19. The patient resides at Manor Court within Liberty Village of Carbondale and is one of three cases confirmed Wednesday in Jackson County. She is being treated in isolation at the hospital. The facility’s administrator says all staff, residents, and their families have been notified by telephone of the positive case, with a follow up letter sent yesterday.
