(Geneva, Switzerland) — The WHO and Global Citizen are announcing a virtual global concert special featuring numerous stars led by Lady Gaga. One World: Together at Home will be broadcast all over the world to support and commend healthcare workers fighting the coronavirus pandemic. Other confirmed acts include Billie Eilish, Elton John, John Legend, Keith Urban, Lizzo, Paul McCartney, and Stevie Wonder. With the help of more than 60 companies, the singer has helped raise money for the WHO’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, which helps provide PPE, supplies and testing kits, improve lab capacity, and coordinate research development. The fund has raised over 35-million dollars. While lauding the work of healthcare professionals, Lady Gaga says she wants the event to celebrate the global community and human spirit and highlight the gravity of the movement.
