Apollo Conference and Illini Prairie Conference to Merge for Football

The Apollo Conference and the Illini Prairie Conference will merge together this spring for football only. The first game is tentatively scheduled for March 5^th. Practices are set to begin February 15^th. The Apollo Conference has seven members, which means each school has an open date in the seven-game schedule. The IPC has nine members, which is enough to complete a seven-game schedule, but many schools have a gap in their schedules since St. Thomas More has dropped down to 8-man football.
