Driver Accused Of Being Drunk After Crashing Into Nine Cars In Champaign
(Champaign, IL) — Police in Champaign suspect a driver was under the influence after a multi-vehicle crash downtown Thursday morning. Just about 10:30 a.m. yesterday, officers responded to the area of State Street and University Avenue. There they found nine vehicles that had been damaged over a stretch of several blocks. The driver was eventually stopped and arrested.
