Free Summer Lunches will be available in Mattoon and Charleston for all kids 18 and younger with the Salvation Army of Coles and Cumberland counties and Eastern Illinois University volunteers.
Children 5 and under should come with a parent or guardian. The “grab and go” version of the lunches will not be available this year. All children will be required to sit and eat at the site. Lunch must be picked up by 5 minutes before the truck leaves for the next location. Lunch will not be served on June 20th, July 1st and July 4th. In case of bad weather, the Salvation Army will post a cancellation notice on their Facebook page.

Lunch is served in Charleston: Monday – Thursday, June 13th – August 11th
