Rep. Miller Issues Statement on FBI’s Raid of President Trump’s Residence
WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Mary Miller (R-IL) issued the following statement on the unprecedented raid of President Trump’s residence:
“Every American should be alarmed and outraged by what’s happening in this country. This raid on a former President’s home is unprecedented and has all the markings of a total abuse of power,” Miller said.
“If TODAY the FBI does not raid the homes of the Biden family members who took payments from Chinese communist officials, Moscow officials, and Ukrainian officials while holding “10% for the Big Guy,” then we have conclusive proof of two systems of justice. The evidence is on a laptop that has been in the FBI’s possession FOR YEARS. Remember, the FBI went after Paul Manafort for the same offenses that are well documented on the “laptop from hell.” Where are the Biden family FARA registrations for the Chinese, Russian, and Ukrainian government-controlled entities?
The policies of the Biden Administration and Congressional Democrats have led us into a recession with open borders, a massive crime wave, food shortages, supply chain issues, a destruction of our youth, and a foreign policy crisis showing extreme weakness on the world stage. In an act to make us all forget, the Department of Justice is now engaging in partisan politics by smearing President Trump, attempting to affect the outcome of the 2022 midterm elections AND the 2024 presidential election at the request of President Trump’s political enemies on the sham J6 Committee.
By targeting the political opponents of Joe Biden and engaging in partisan politics on behalf of the Democrat Party, the FBI has done lasting and permanent damage to our democracy. The Biden DOJ officials involved in this attack on the democratic process must be held accountable by Congress under a new majority. If this is what they’re able to do to the former president of the United States, think about what they could do to you.”
