KANYE WEST MEETS WITH DONALD TRUMP AT MAR-A-LAGO
Ye met with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago last week with white nationalist Nick Fuentes and said that during the meeting, Trump insulted his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. Ye said that he asked Trump to run as his vice president and Trump told Ye not to run and bought up Alice Johnson, the woman whose sentence he commuted in 2016 after lobbying from Kardashian.
Ye said, “He basically gave me this would-be mob-esque kinda story, talking to some kid from the South Side of Chicago trying to sound mobby or whatever. He goes into the story about all that he went through to get Alice Johnson out of jail but he didn’t do it for Kim but he did for me.”
He continued, “But then he goes on to say that Kim is a [expletive] and you can tell her I said that. And I was thinking like that’s the mother of my children.”
Ye also claimed that Trump was very impressed with Nick Fuentes.
DONALD TRUMP SPEAKS ON MEETING WITH YE
Donald Trump opened up about the meeting with Ye on his Truth Social account, saying, "So I help a seriously troubled man, who just happens to be black, Ye (Kanye West), who has been decimated in his business and virtually everything else, and who has always been good to me, by allowing his request for a meeting at Mar-a-Lago, alone, so that I can give him very much needed 'advice.'"
Trump continued, "He shows up with 3 people, two of which I didn’t know, the other a political person who I haven’t seen in years. I told him don’t run for office, a total waste of time, can’t win. Fake News went CRAZY!"
A Trump adviser confirmed to CBS News on Friday (November 25th), that Trump did have dinner with Ye and insisted that he did not know who Fuentes was, nor had knowledge that he would be arriving with Ye.
