Mount Vernon TV & Appliance has purchased Card’s Appliance in Mattoon.
Owner Jeff Klein said, “We’re excited about this opportunity to serve Coles and surrounding counties. We have the same family-business philosophy of the Card family. We care about our customers and will be here for them before, during and after the sale.” Chuck Card will continue working at the store for one year to make for a smoother transition for customers. Chuck said, “While the name will change, customers will still receive price-match guarantees and excellent service from Mount Vernon TV & Appliance.
Existing and new customers can be assured that their team will take excellent care of them. That was important when deciding to sell our business.”
