The former One Direction singer Zayn Malik revealed that he has had a frustrating time using his dating apps ever since he moved to rural Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Speaking with Nylon, the 31-year-old British/Pakistani pop star shared that “I definitely stand out” around the small town. He went on to express his frustration using his dating apps, because no one believes that it is actually him on the site. “It’s not been too successful for me, I’ll be honest,” he said. “Everyone accused me of catfishing. They’re like, ‘What are you using Zayn Malik’s pictures for?’ I’ve been kicked off once or twice.” But Malik has settled comfortably into his new life in Bucks County, and is satisfied just being by himself for now. “I’m really content and happy with being single for the first time in my life.” (Complex)
