Edgar County Fair – 2025 Concert Announcement
PARIS, IL (FEB 4, 2025) – The Edgar County Fair Association is excited to announce the headliner for the 2025 Edgar County Fair Entertainment lineup! While the opening artists will be revealed at a later date, we can confirm that the main act will be the multi-talented entertainer Mitchell Tenpenny. Known as a singer, songwriter, producer, and performer, Tenpenny rose to fame with his debut 3X platinum-certified hit single, “Drunk Me.” He has achieved remarkable success in country music, surpassing one billion streams and now boasting over 2.3 billion global streams.
Mitchell’s previous album, *This Is The Heavy*, features the platinum-selling #1 hit “Truth About You.” This song made history for having the shortest span between #1 hits since 1982, with just three weeks between chart-toppers. “Truth About You” followed his collaboration with Chris Young on the #1 hit “At The End Of A Bar,” which was nominated for an ACM Music Event award. Additionally, his radio single “We Got History” finished in the Top 10 for 2023.
The concert is scheduled to take place at the Edgar County Fairgrounds in Paris, IL, on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Tickets for the Grandstand, Track, and Party Pit will go on sale this Friday, February 7, 2025, at 8 AM and can be purchased at www.edgarcountyfair.com.
