New Evening AA Meeting Now Available in Mattoon
MATTOON, IL – A new Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting has launched in Mattoon, providing vital support for individuals seeking recovery. The meeting takes place every Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Parish Center, located at 1900 Richmond Avenue.
Organizers say this is currently the only evening AA meeting available in Mattoon, making it a valuable resource for those who may be unable to attend daytime sessions due to work or other obligations.
“We hope to be of service to the alcoholic who still suffers,” said one member.
The group encourages anyone struggling with alcohol addiction—or those concerned for someone who is—to attend. No registration is required, and anonymity is respected.
