Texas Roadhouse Brings 190 New Jobs to Mattoon
MATTOON, IL. (September 5, 2025) – Texas Roadhouse is bringing its legendary Hand-Cut Steaks, Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs and Made-From-Scratch Sides to Mattoon and currently hiring for all full and part-time positions. Construction began last year and the 7,926 square-foot restaurant, at 1500 Fort Worth Way, is scheduled to open in mid November for dining and To-Go.
Mattoon’s Texas Roadhouse is a full-service, casual dining concept known for its Hand-Cut Steaks, Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs and comfortable, down-home atmosphere. The menu also features an assortment of steaks, ribs, chicken, salads, hamburgers, and vegetables. Most selections include two Made-From-Scratch side items and unlimited fresh-baked bread and peanuts.
Mattoon’s new Texas Roadhouse will employ a staff of 190. Those interested in employment can apply directly to Mattoon opportunities at https://becomearoadie.com/ . Interviews will be conducted daily at the hiring trailer in the parking lot 10:00am – 7:00 pm.
Once open, the restaurant will serve dinner-only Monday through Thursday from 4:00 –10:00 pm and Friday from 4:00 – 11:00 pm and be open for lunch and dinner Saturday 11:00 am – 11:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am – 10:00 pm.
