Horizon Health Physician Receives Champion Award
(Paris, IL)—Dr. Laney Robinson, board-certified family medicine physician, has been a true champion since returning to her hometown of Paris, Illinois, after medical school and joining Horizon Health in 2021.
During an August 11 ceremony at the hospital, Dr. Robinson received the Illinois Rural Community Care Organization (IRCCO) 2025 MD Champion Award. The award recognizes her exceptional commitment to quality, patient care, and physician leadership within IRCCO’s Medicare Shared Savings Program Accountable Care Organization (MSSP ACO).
Dr. Robinson was selected for her leadership as Horizon Health’s MD Champion, active participation in IRCCO Provider Champion meetings and Horizon Health ACO Quarterly Strategy Meetings, and contributions toward IRCCO’s MSSP performance goals during the 2025 performance year.
Through her engagement, Dr. Robinson helped connect clinical leadership with the shared work of improving quality, strengthening care coordination, and advancing patient-centered care for rural communities.
