11-year-old Chris Gaither of Talladega, Alabama was home alone on Wednesday, when he heard a noise in his house. Then he realized someone had broken in, so he grabbed a nine-millimeter HANDGUN.
He wound up face-to-face with the guy, who threatened to KILL him. But then the guy grabbed a HAMPER, and ran out the front door toward a fence in the yard.
So Chris started FIRING. He fired 12 shots at the guy, and the last one hit him in the leg.
Chris says, quote, “It went straight through the back of his leg. He started crying like a little baby . . . I hope you learn your lesson coming to this house to try to steal stuff.”
The guy was taken to the hospital for treatment, and he’ll be facing robbery charges. But Chris won’t be facing any charges, since he shot the guy in self defense.
