Finally, there’s an explanation for why the comments on basically EVERY website seem so incredibly dumb.
A new study out of the University of Southern California found that the more comments someone posts, the DUMBER those comments are. But it’s not because writing comments makes you dumb, it’s because you stop putting thought or effort into them.
So when you read comments online, you can assume a lot of them come from people who leave tons of comments . . . which is why they’re so weak.
