Your grandparents AREN’T as freaked out and confused by technology as you think. Well . . . probably. They SAY they aren’t, for whatever that’s worth.
Here are some results from a new survey of people 60 years old and up about their feelings toward modern technology. Check it out . . .
1. 99% say they use the Internet, even if it’s just to check email or use Google.
2. Almost two out of three say they own a smart phone.
3. Only 20% say they need a lot of help with technology. 60% say they can usually figure things out themselves, and 20% say they never need any help.
4. 70% are on Facebook . . . 30% use Pinterest . . . 9% use Instagram . . . and 8% use Twitter.
5. But there’s still one place where they want to do things the old-fashioned way: Dating. Only 5% say they would want to meet someone through online dating.
