“Sharknado: The 4th Awakens” premieres on July 31st, and there’s a new trailer and a bunch of official casting updates.
For starters, the trailer reveals that Tara Reid’s character April survived. “Sharknado 3” ended with a cliffhanger, where it wasn’t clear if she lives or dies, and Syfy actually asked the FANS to vote on her fate.
Ian Ziering, David Hasselhoff and Ryan Newman will also be back.
New cast members include: Gary Busey, Tommy Davidson, Imani Hakim from “Everybody Hates Chris”, Cody Linley from “Hannah Montana”,Masiela Lusha from the “George Lopez” sitcom, and model Cheryl Tiegs.
Syfy also announced a new round of cameos, including: Carrot Top as an Uber driver, Gilbert Gottfried as a “Today” correspondent, wrestler Seth Rollins, Steve Guttenberg, The Hoff’s daughters Hayley and Taylor-Ann, MMA fighter Roy Nelson, and Paul Shaffer as himself
