United Way of Effingham County Announces Washington Savings Bank as Lead Pace Setter Company
Effingham, Illinois – The United Way of Effingham County Board of Directors have selected Washington Savings Bank as the 2025 Lead Pacesetter Company. This was an easy decision as Washinton Savings Bank has partnered with the United Way for 22 years, has raised over $51,000 and have been top level sponsors for many United Way events. Washington Savings Bank employees proudly show their belief in the United Way’s mission by participating in the Employee Campaign program, hosting various fundraisers in the workplace and by attending United Way events.

Being chosen as Lead Pacesetter Company by the United Way of Effingham County Board of Directors means the company goes above and beyond to support United Way of Effingham County by helping raise funds to reach the Campaign Goal and being good stewards of the organization’s mission by helping those in need right in our own community.
