Our team at Cromwell Group of Mattoon joined forces with our Ag Network Director Jeff Nalley and Sarah Bush Lincoln, to turn fall decor into direct support for local women’s health. This long-running tradition of ours doesn’t happen without YOU and your support of our mission. And we are pretty proud of our final tally for this year’s “Mums for Moms!”
Our local listeners and neighbors stepped up as always to buy nearly 400 mums across Mattoon and Effingham during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Every purchase directly benefits the Sarah Bush Lincoln Mobile Mammography Unit, bringing accessible, potentially lifesaving screenings to women in our community who need them most.
Nalley personally grew and hauled the flowers from his Owensboro, Kentucky farm for our Mums for Moms events. To emphasize early detection, the Sarah Bush Lincoln Mobile Mammography Unit provided on-site mammograms at both event locations. We want to extend a massive thank you to Jeff Nalley, Sarah Bush Lincoln, our sponsors, and everyone who bought a mum to help make a difference right here at home. We can’t wait for next year!
