A 35-year-old guy was driving in Oceanside, California around 2:00 A.M. on Tuesday, when the cops tried to pull him over. But instead of stopping, he sped away . . . and the chase was ON.
He drove around for 20 minutes with the cops behind him before he finally pulled over into a parking lot, got out of his car, and hopped a fence.
But . . . it turns out it was the parking lot for a JAIL. And the fence he hopped was the one around the inmate intake area.
It’s not clear if the guy knew that, so either he was unconditionally surrendering . . . or he got INSANELY unlucky with his getaway plan.
The cops walked him right into the jail and booked him for resisting and obstructing police.
