So, maybe there’s more to reading books than we thought.
A new study found people who read books LIVE LONGER than people who don’t. The study lasted 12 years, and people who read at least a half hour a day were 23% less likely to die than people who didn’t read. And they lived about two years longer overall.
The researchers didn’t exactly give a reason why reading makes you live longer . . . they just said it gives you a, quote, “significant survival advantage.”
