You know a meme has reached the next level when it starts FIGHTING CRIME. So congratulations to the Mannequin Challenge, you made it, baby.
A group of people in Huntsville, Alabama shot a Mannequin Challenge video about a month ago, and they made their scene look like a SHOOTOUT. Almost everyone in the video is holding guns, including some serious assault weapons.
Well . . . the cops saw the video after it was posted on Facebook, and all those hardcore weapons made them suspicious, so they started investigating.
They finally got a search warrant this week, and they raided the house from the video yesterday morning.
They found a marijuana dealing operation set up, plus a bunch of the guns.
Two guys were arrested, a 49-year-old named Kenneth White and a 23-year-old named Terry Brown. But on the bright side for them, their Mannequin Challenge video IS pretty well done.
