According to the Illinois State Police this morning around 4 am this morning there was a fatal car accident in Vermillion County. A 51 year old man from Milford IL was driving over the speed limit southbound on IL Route 49 only South of County Road 3550N in Vermilion County. He left the roadway to the East and over corrected to the West and went off the roadway into the ditch causing his vehicle to overturn once and landed on its side in a field. Officials confirm he was not wearing his seatbelt.
