I feel like people don’t talk that much about their oral hygiene, mostly because it makes them realize they haven’t been to the dentist since 2004. So this info should be pretty enlightening.
Here are the results from a new survey by Buzzfeed, where you can see if you’re brushing your teeth like everyone else . . .
1. 65% of people brush their teeth twice a day . . . 28% do it once . . . 6% do it at least three times . . . and 1% of people don’t brush their teeth.
2. 73% use a manual toothbrush, 27% use an electric one.
3. 51% of people brush their teeth before breakfast in the morning.
4. 66% use mouthwash at least once in a while . . . 34% never use it.
5. 14% have used a tongue scraper . . . 86% never have.
6. And 51% swear they floss . . . plus another 22% lie about flossing. Only 27% admit they don’t floss.
