According to State Senator Dale Righter, another day of “special session” proved to be anything but. Righter did say that talks between House Republican Durkin and Speaker Madigan did ramp up some, as did conversations between House and Senate Democrats.
Righter went on to say that there are some indications Madigan is preparing to put something out there. What remains to be seen is if will be a sincere attempt to reach a consensus with everyone or simply designed to make it appear as though he is “trying.”
