Lady Gaga is being subpoenaed as the legal battle between fellow singer Kesha and music producer Dr. Luke rages on. Dr. Luke is suing Kesha for defamation after she made claims that he sexually assaulted her. His lawyer confirmed yesterday that Lady Gaga had been served with a subpoena to be deposed about her involvement in the case. It’s their belief that the pop superstar has, quote “relevant information regarding, among other things, false statements about Dr. Luke made to her by Kesha.” A rep for Lady Gaga says Dr. Luke’s team is trying to manipulate the truth and draw more press attention to their case.
