1 Home, 5,000 Acres Burned In Wildfire North Of L.A.

(Burbank, CA)  —  Firefighters are battling flames and 100-degree temperatures in a wildfire burning north of downtown Los Angeles.  The La Tuna fire has burned more than five-thousand acres and one home in the Verdugo Mountains.  So far, no injuries have been reported.  More than 700 homes in the area are under evacuation orders.  The blaze has forced the closure of a section of the 210 Freeway.
