Two people were saved by a passerby following an accident on Lerna Road yesterday. According to Lincoln Fire Protection District Chief Pat Goodwin, crews were dispatched to the scene around 8:40 a.m. and found a vehicle in flames. The driver and passenger were already out of the vehicle. The person that pulled them from the vehicle had already left the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
